QR codes are small images that behave a little like barcodes. They contain encoded text, such as links to web pages. They make it very easy to take a user directly to a web site, without them having to enter a long web address. To use a QR code, you will need a device with a camera, and a suitable 'App' to read the code. We recommend the 'Scan' app which can be downloaded from the respective stores by clicking the appropriate link below.

A huge number of online learning sites rely upon old Flash technology which is not supported on Apple's iOS devices, including their iPad and iPod. By using new HTML5 techniques, StudyZone.tv is designed to work perfectly on all these portable devices, making it an excellent tool for use in the classroom or at home.

Any modern computer should allow you to play the videos we use on this site. The interactive activities use the latest HTML 5 technology, which does require a more modern browser. Please ensure you have the latest version of your browser installed. Internet Explorer users may wish to consider installing Firefox which is more compatible with newer technologies.

A lot of them, but not all. It is free to register for an account with Studyzone.tv. This will enable teachers to create student accounts and will allow users to save their scores. Premium content may be unlocked via the 'Unlock Content' button.

Yes. We use an SSL certificate that protects all your data that is sent to the website. Additionally, your credit card information is never shared with us and never even touches our server. Instead, it is sent directly to our charging partner, Stripe. Find out more about their service here.

By registering, you will be able to save scores, track your progress and gain achievements. Registering as a teacher / tutor also allows you to create additional accounts for the pupils you work with. By creating accounts in this way, you will be able to keep track of their progress as well as set them tasks to complete.
